Xenon lamps (HID), or High-Intensity Discharge lamps, operate by boosting 12V/24V voltage to an ultra-high 23,000V, which excites the xenon gas filled in a quartz tube to emit light. The voltage is then converted to around 85V to provide stable and continuous illumination. Additionally, HID lamps avoid the common issues of halogen lamps, such as oxidation and diminishing brightness over extended usage, while offering broader and longer illumination distances.
